Materials Modelling and Engineering
The main theme of my research is the prediction and engineering of novel two-dimensional materials for various applications including optoelectronics, solar cells and photocatalytic water splitting using state-of-the -art theoretical and computational modelling. The computational designing of 2D materials and tuning their properties with defects-engineering, phase-engineering, strain-engineering, electric field-engineering and van der Waals heterostructures for nano-optoelectronics are my current research interests.
