The School of Information and Communication Studies at the Central University of Punjab, Bathinda, under the patronage of Vice-Chancellor Prof. Raghavendra P. Tiwari, organized a special lecture on 'Indian Communication: Traditional and Modern Approaches'. The talk highlighted the evolution of mass communication mediums over time. The lecture was delivered by Professor Ram Mohan Pathak, a veteran Indian journalist and esteemed educator, who previously served as the director of the MMM Institute of Hindi Journalism at Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith.
