Research Interests

My research interests include applying Geospatial Technology for Natural Resource Management. These include: Urban heat island -Aerosols interaction, Biomass Burning and Air Quality; Wetland dynamics, Land Use Land Cover Mapping, Vegetation Mapping and Land degradation assessment using Geospatial Technology; Optical/IR/Hyperspectral Remote Sensing.

Another area of Research Interest is Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs)- Monitoring of Organochlorine Pesticides in Soil and Water.
