In continuation of the Ph.D. Prospectus 2025–26 (January 2026 Intake), it is hereby notified that under Evaluation of Performance, Point C, the provision related to NET-qualified candidates is clarified as under:
NET qualified candidates prior to the UGC notification dated 27.03.2024 shall be awarded 50 marks. The remaining 20% weightage shall be based on the Master’s degree percentage in cases where NET marks are not available.
This clarification is issued to remove ambiguity and to ensure uniform evaluation during the Ph.D. admission process.
