Worked on the design and development of novel strategies for the construction of bioactive compounds like cyclic guanidines and benzodiazepene scaffolds. 

Senior Research Fellow (April 2008-March 2011): CSIR-IHBT, Palampur, India. Designed and developed various transition metal-catalyzed cross-coupling strategies for the synthesis of stilbenoids. Also, we have explored the synthesis of a series of bioactive phenolics from abundantly available natural phenylpropenes.

Junior Research Fellow (March 2006-March 2008): CSIR-IHBT, Palampur, India. Worked on the development of various green methodologies utilizing microwave, ionic liquids and aqueous media reactions.
