  • Interactions of metal nanoparticles, denaturants, surfactants, ionic liquids, natural polyamines, polyphosphates, and poly-lipids with biomacromolecules.
  • Synthesis and characterizations smart molecular materials (hybrid bio-conjugated nanoparticles/nanoclusters)
  • Exploration of the hybrid nanoparticles/nanocluster/ nanocomposites interactions with biomacromolecules using ultrafast kinetic method, spectroscopic techniques, calorimetric method (ITC and DSC), and MD Simulations.
  • Investigation of ultrafast protein dynamics and solvation dynamics of hybrid bioconjugated nanoparticles/nanocluster /nanocomposites using nanosecond laser flash photolysis and time-correlated single photon counting spectroscopy (TCSPC).
  • In Silico Molecular Docking and Simulation Studies of Protein with other Molecules (ligands, drugs, other proteins) at an atomic level.
  • Advanced thermodynamic studies of biomacromolecules using isothermal titration and differential scanning calorimeters (ITC and DSC)
  • Advanced ultrafast protein folding study using laser flash photolysis and fluorescence correlation spectroscopy (FCS) in confocal microscopy.
  • Role of glycation on the mechanisms of iron and chromium binding and uptake by transferrin under hyperglycemic conditions 
  • Investigation of prevention and causes of  protein misfolding/aggregation/amyloid fibrils formation in natively disordered proteins
