Physical education is an integral part of every individual life. It provides opportunities for students to get quality education with confidence, enjoyment and competence in area of physical activities. The department of physical education was established in the year 2019under the ambit of the School of Education. Since its inception, department is committed to the promotion of innovative physical education, competition oriented physical activity and sports for the overall development of the students of the nation. Committed to innovative and quality-based teaching and research, the department is in the process of expansion with teaching and research programmes.

Objectives of Department

To produce quality teachers in the field of Physical Education and Sports Science.
To attain excellence in Sports Science Research.
To develop professional and academic leadership among students
To enable the students adaptable globally in academic and vocational environment.
To improve and encouragephysical education andsports culture in society.

Infrastructure
The department of physical education has the following infrastructure facilities like smart class room, modern laboratories and technical equipments. The university campus provides an eco-friendly harmonious environment to students for leaning and playing.
